Exhibition Dates: November 1 - 23, 2025
Opening reception November 1, 2025, 5-7 PM
PHOTOcentric 2025: State of Our Union is a juried exhibition featuring a collection of powerful photographs that explore life in the United States over the past decade. In a time of deep polarization, our nation has experienced a multitude of significant events, movements, and cultural shifts that continue to shape our identity. This exhibition aims to present multiple perspectives—personal, political, cultural, and social—through the lens of photography.
Viewers can expect to see compelling images captured between 2015 and 2025 that reflect the diverse realities, struggles, hopes, and contradictions defining contemporary American life. From moments of unity to voices of dissent, the works on display highlight the complexity and nuance of our society today. Join us in this exploration of the intricate tapestry of American experience and witness how photography can capture both the challenges and triumphs of our times.

Interactive Component
Visitors are invited to participate in an interactive installation by responding to the prompt:
“The past ten years — better or worse?”
Using a post-it note, participants can share their thoughts, memories, or reflections on events, trends, or ideas that have shaped the past decade — for better or worse. These responses will be displayed as part of the exhibition, creating a collective snapshot of our shared perspectives and experiences.
