Join us for Community Day on Saturday, April 25, from 11:30 am–3:00 pm, and celebrate art and community with us!

Enjoy live pottery and printmaking demos, browse our Earth Day art supply resale, explore upcoming classes, and experience inspiring gallery exhibitions. Don’t miss this fun and creative day by the river!

SPRING-CLEAN YOUR ADULT & KIDS' ART SUPPLIES
Donate your unused art supplies and give them a second life! We're collecting adult and kids' materials.

Drop off your donations during gallery hours, Tuesday–Sunday, 10 am –5 pm, April 7  through Sat. April 19. (Closed Monday, April 13). Please make sure your supplies are usable for another artist.

Please DONATE items, including:

  • paint brushes, tubes of paintwatercolor sets

  • printmaking ink, silkscreens

  • paperpaper pads & blank journals

  • canvasstretchers

  • beads, buttons, etc.

  • sculpture tools, sculpture wiresmall wood scraps

  • Reusable boxes/containers for organizing supplies

  • oil pastels

  • colored pencilsdrawing pencils, crayons

  • unused erasers

  • unopened packages of modeling clay, Play-Doh, etc.

  • pipe cleanersart/craft kits

  • easels & small studio furniture



Please DO NOT DONATE:

  • Paints, inks, or solvents with chemicals or heavy metals that have been deemed toxic, such as lead, cobalt, cadmium, barium, manganese, chromium, mercury, turpentine, and mineral spirits.

  • Opened cans of house paint

  • Expired materials

  • Spray cans of any kind

  • Items with mold (canvas, fabric scraps, paper, etc.)

  • Dry paint, markers, Play-Doh, etc.

Free parking is available at the MTA parking lot on weekends.  The parking lot is located on the east side of the train tracks. To access the art center, simply walk through the tunnel or across the bridge to the riverside. Enjoy your visit!
