Apply using images that are similar to the type of work you would produce for this event.

If notified that you are selected (on March 13) artists must complete registration by Friday, March 20 to secure their spot. The registration fee includes one ticket to the event. If registration is not received by the deadline, the opportunity will be offered to artists on the waiting list.

 

Artwork Guidelines

To ensure a smooth auction process, please adhere to the following:

• Artwork must be created within the past year
   

• Maximum size: 36” in any direction (frame not included)
   

• Open to 2D media only
   

• All works must be framed and ready to hang
   

• Clearly label the back of the artwork with:
   

  • Artist’s name
     

  • Title
     

  • Medium
     

  • Approximate location depicted
     

 

Artwork Delivery

• Monday, May 4: 2:00–7:00 PM
   

• Tuesday, May 5: 11:00 AM–4:30 PM
   

Please note: Artwork will not be accepted after 4:30 PM on May 5.

 

Auction Details

• This is a live auction; reserve prices are not permitted
   

• Opening bid for all works: $200
   

• Sale proceeds are split 50% to the artist / 50% to Garrison Art Center
   

Artists are encouraged to consider donating 100% of their proceeds to support Garrison Art Center. Artists who choose to do so will receive a complimentary Artist II membership or renewal.

If you plan to donate your proceeds, please notify us in advance by email. Donating artists will be recognized on their artwork label and during the live auction, and will receive a tax acknowledgment for their in-kind donation.
