Exhibition Dates: June 25 - October 25
Opening Reception: June 25, 5-7 PM
Location: Desmond-Fish Public Library, Garrison, NY
Inspired by Garrison Art Center’s summer theme, Rooted: Art and the Natural World, and the Desmond-Fish Public Library’s summer reading theme, Unearth A Story, this exhibition considers the many ways we connect to the world around us—through landscape, material, and time.

We encouraged artists to think expansively about what it means to be “rooted” and what it means to “unearth.” These ideas may be approached literally or conceptually.
Through this collaboration, we aimed to highlight the rich connections between art, storytelling, and the natural world—inviting artists and viewers alike to look more closely, dig more deeply, and discover new ways of seeing.

This exhibition will be on view at Desmond-Fish Public Library and juried collaboratively by both institutions.
