High School students will explore various processes related to relief printmaking such as: carving, mixing inks, printing on the press, tearing paper and editioning prints. In addition, they will practice printing on both paper and fabric, collaging prints and the chine colle method. While practicing using tools to make marks, students will be encouraged to “show the light” of an object employing various mark making methods.
Tuition $225 + $25 materials fees
