Learn the basics of how to make things move using an array of pulleys, gears, ramps, cranks and gravity.
Expand your art making skills and get the art in motion!
Join master sculpture and woodworker James Murray in a three hour hands on workshop that will cover ways to bring simple movement to your three dimensional pieces. A variety of tools and materials will be covered in this kinetic experience. You can also bring one of your own pieces that may be adaptable for movement.
This workshop is happening in conjunction with our upcoming call for entries for ArtQUAKE - kinetic and optical art exhibition. We are hoping to inspire and enable people to participate in this exhibition.
