CALL FOR ARTISANS

Garrison Art Center invites you to apply to exhibit and sell your work at the Garrison Craft Fair. 50+ artists will be selected to participate. Entries will be judged based on originality, quality, booth presentation, and a balanced representation of categories.

*Special Instructions for Jewelry: If you are not applying in the jewelry category, but intend to sell jewelry you must email an additional 3 images of the jewelry to: info@garrisonartcenter.org. (Jewelry is our largest category, and we must maintain a fair balance.)

What to Submit 

3 high-resolution images of examples of work, 1 image of booth set up.

Images must be JPG or PNG, 180 to 300 DPI and at least 3” x 5”.

 

Artists must submit applications and images online through SmarterEntry only.

No physical samples or e-mail submissions accepted. 

Booth Sharing Note

If you wish to share a booth with another artisan, you must each submit an online application with required images, entry fee and be accepted by the FAIR Jury Committee. Both applicants must enter name of sharing artist in the additional comments on the online application form.

Booth Sizes/Prices

   STANDARD BOOTHS

   10 x 10 booth $325  (Shared $175/each)    

   10 x 20 booth $600  (Shared $325/each)

 

   PREMIERE BOOTHS

   Open 2 sides $375  (Shared $200/each)  

   Open 3 sides $400  (Shared $225/each)

   Food Court booth $425  (permits required)

 

 

Participant Regulations

  1. Artists are responsible for the transportation, insurance, booth set up and sale of their own work.

  2. Food vendors must submit required food sales permits and insurance certificates at the time of acceptance.

  3. Artists are required to install free-standing booths securely on the grass with adequate weights, stakes, and protection. All materials must be kept within the booth area. Booth assignments will be made during the summer.

  4. The fair is outdoors, rain or shine. Electricity is not available and generators are not allowed. Battery-operated lights are permitted.

  5. Booths may remain set up Friday and Saturday nights. Garrison Art Center assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to work or booths but will provide security throughout both nights.

  6. All work must be original and created by hand or with tools by the artist or under the direct supervision of the artist. Pre-manufactured molds and factory-made items are not accepted.

  7. Accepted artists are required to submit additional high resolution images (at least 5x7 at 300 dpi) for inclusion in printed marketing materials.

  8. Cancellation: Notice of your intent to withdraw from the Riverside Craft Fair and requests for refunds must be in writing and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. No refunds will be considered after July 15, 2022.

 

Terms and Conditions

Garrison Art Center reserves the right to reproduce images of accepted work on our website and in any advertising associated with the Riverside Craft Fair. Garrison Art Center has the right to refuse work which differs from the original submissions and selections by jurors. Submission of application and images indicates acceptance of conditions stated herein.
