2023 Gallery Season

Each year, we hold an open call for gallery submissions. Submitted works are juried by

the Gallery Committee, the Gallery Chair, and our Exhibition Coordinator. The Garrison Art

Center gallery committee comprises seven members – all regionally practicing artists. Final

selections are paired to form an interesting dialogue. One exhibitor is placed in the intimate

Balter Gallery, and the other in the expansive Gillette Gallery. In addition to two-artist shows,

one visiting artist is selected. The visiting artist’s work is in both galleries. Part of this honor is

to conduct workshops and lectures, which are accessible to the public for free.
