 STATEMENT |

After attending the New York City school system through college, Harriet
continued her art training at the Art Students League under the late Frank
J. Reilly. During and after this time she maintained a commercial
illustration studio, for more than 25 years.
She had continued additional workshops and programs during her professional career, with the intention of expanding her expertise in the fine arts. Gradually, Harriet transferred almost totally to the fine art field. Because of her concerns in and for the environment and the ecology of the earth, Ms Phillips has concentrated on projecting these concerns through the visual arts. |
