 Artist Statement
For as long as I can remember, art has always been a large part of my life.
Art is something that informs everything I do, and conversely everything I do informs my art. To try and separate the two is impossible. If I am given a problem to solve, invariably my solution will involve graphic expression. This is simply the way my brain works, for better or worse. My happiness, my peace, my comfort is ultimately in artistic expression. This process of creation is rarely simple or straightforward. The emergence of creative ideas is sometimes an agonizing process that leads in many unpredictable directions. Alternatively, sometimes it just flows.
