Beth Bolgla

Beth Bolgla, the newly hired studio manager, received an MFA in Ceramics from Georgia State University in 1978, and continued graduate studies in Art History. Her lively and rich career creating, exhibiting and teaching, evolved from functional wheel thrown pottery, to sculptural hand built narrative vessels, to 2D images of vessels, paintings, to most recently, ceramic tile making and mosaics, which literally fuses her ceramic knowledge with her innate abilities in composition and color combining. In 2000, Beth was invited by the US State Department to participate in the International Women’s Art Exhibition in Aleppo, Syria. She was also hired to conduct workshops with groups of women in Syria and Saudi Arabia, and with senior level art students at the University of Damascus. Beth’s work has been collected nationally and internationally by individuals, corporations, and museums.
