From: Housatonic Museum of Art Catalog, Guest Curator Judith Corrigan:

"Vincent Baldassano uses the spell of color in his exuberant, expressionist works of heavily painted surfaces -- a painter's painter. Baldassano's organic abstractions composed of unpredictable combinations of shape and color connect us to spontaneous, playful worlds. His lively primal images seem to dance on the canvas, projecting musicality and even wild conversations in a mysterious Baldassano world."
