"My work is a synthesis of observation, imagination and emotional expression. Color, light, pattern, mood, world events, relationships, dreams, memories -- all blend together to influence the narrative of my work. I work in a variety of media because I love exploring processes and materials as they suit my themes. The ultimate goal is to achieve a balance between content and image."
Leslie works in oil, watercolor, acrylic, printmaking and mixed media. Born in New York City, she studied at The Fashion Institute of Technology, the School of Visual Arts and the State University of New York at New Paltz (B.S. in Visual Arts.) Her work has won numerous awards and is in many private collections.
