 ARTIST STATEMENTOctober, 2000 Behind the camera I am at peace with the world -- internally and externally. The photos that I make are an attempt to capture the tranquility of geography and the serenity and ease of the people of our world. Juxtaposed to this, I often catch our world and the people in it in turmoil -- struggling to adjust to the circumstances of their everyday existence. I have traveled and photographed people and places extensively around the world, often capturing images that are more photojournalistic in nature that the "normal" travel photography. |
