 About the ArtistJudika's energetic abstracts in acrylic contain an echo of natural, organic and biomorphic forms. Her figurative work is impressionistic and heavily impastoed in texture with a vibrant color palette, encompassing the broad end of the spectrum. Influenced by Kandinsky, she believes in the interrelationship between art and music that drives her creative inspiration and spirituality. As all artists, who are the guardians of beauty, she has the responsibility to reflect and re-energize the wonder of the world. Paint and canvas are the vehicles of her expression. Exhibited widely in galleries, universities and private collections, she is a superb colorist, and her paintings have been compared to Lee Krasner and Jackson Pollack. Born in Czechoslovakia, she received a B.S. (Magna Cum Laude) in Fine Arts from Pace University and a M.S. in Studio Art from the College of New Rochelle. |
