Membership is the most important source of income that helps GAC thrive. It is this support that lets GAC know that our special events, education programs, technical support and exhibitions are meaningful to our members, artists, and the community at large. Forty years of steady growth for GAC results from many people thinking outside of the BOX.
GAC asks you to sign up now for a new membership, renew or upgrade an existing membership and perhaps give one as a gift. The timeline above represents milestones in GAC's history. What started out as a drawing class for local artists and parents in 1966 has, forty years later, grown into a full-time multi-media art center. GAC's mission is to open the door to artistic inquiry and expression, expand artists' vision and foster creative ideas and appreciation of the arts in our community. We are also proud of our state-wide recognition through New York State Council on the Arts, New York Foundation for the Arts, and NYS funding through the Empire State Development Corporation.
